Geotechnical Engineer Position Available

We are currently seeking a mid-level to senior Geotechnical Engineer who has experience with evaluating the soils in North Dakota and surrounding states. We are looking for a highly motivated individual that would take control of, and grow, our geotechnical department. The individual will have to manage project work, from proposals to drilling and report writing. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication and report writing skills, as well as technical expertise. The candidate must have experience evaluating soil and foundations to include, but not limited to, bearing capacity, pile capacities, settlement analysis, slope stability, retaining walls, pavement thickness design, and other constructability issues. The person selected for this position will be required to travel occasionally to project sites for observations and evaluations.

Qualifications:

BS in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering.

5 plus years of relevant work experience.

PE Registration or ability to obtain a PE registration in the State of ND & surrounding states within 1 year.

Flexibility in adapting to the client’s schedule.

Willingness to travel as necessary.

Satisfactory driving record.

Strong communication, technical, and writing skills.

Computer skills.

Able to legally work in the US.
